Premium, Chrome, or others and replace the normal skins (hangar, base, winter, marine, and woodland)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add decals and text, including names and pinups<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Take skins from the older versions and rework them into HD for latest version<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Use the base skins and create my own colors, camo, and decals<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Some are historical skins based on artwork of the various planes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Some skins will have a separate post and download link.&nbsp; Others will just have an image in the imgur album for that nation.&nbsp; All downloads are on <a href=\"https:\/\/yadi.sk\/d\/XXwiod0Y3Qx8Vv\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Yandex Disk<\/a> in the <em><strong>planes<\/strong><\/em> folder.&nbsp; If you see a skin you like in the album, go to Yandex and get the download. Also on the post for each nation, I will list skins and download links.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Enjoy!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Custom Skins Installation<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Download the skin file archive (zip) of your choice<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Inside the archive (zip) is a directory named <strong>vehicles<\/strong>, and in some cases a directory <strong>scripts<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Copy\/move the <strong>vehicles<\/strong>, and <strong>scripts<\/strong> if available, to the res_mods\/&lt;game version&gt;\/ directory<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Some HiGloss metal skins have the option to change from bright metal finish to a gunmetal gray finish (still high gloss), to activate that, download the xml file for that aircraft, then <strong>copy\/move<\/strong> the <strong>scripts<\/strong> directory from the archive to the res_mods\/&lt;game version&gt;\/ directory<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">High Gloss Metal Skins<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>These skins have been designed to display with a high gloss appearance to resemble aircraft that have been waxed and polished. The are identified with the addition of _HiGloss to the filename.&nbsp; For example &lt;aircraft&gt;_HiGloss.zip. If you want the metal finish. but do not want the high gloss the delete the res_mods\/&lt;version&gt;\/vehicles\/airplane\/&lt;nation&gt;\/&lt;aircraft&gt;_SPM.dds file.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Most of the High Gloss use the same pattern with colors varying according to season:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Hangar (&lt;aircraft&gt;_hangar.dds) Red\/Maroon<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Winter (&lt;aircraft&gt;_snow.dds) Baby Blue<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Marine (&lt;aircraft&gt;_marine.dds) Dark Blue<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Summer (&lt;aircraft&gt;_woodland.dds) Olive Drab\/Dark Green<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Base (&lt;aircraft&gt;_base.dds) Black\/Maroon<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Gun Metal Gray High Gloss Skins<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This skins are also in the download folder listed above.&nbsp; The have the extension _GM added to the aircraft file name.&nbsp; To get the gun metal finish, you must include the xml file in the script folder.&nbsp; The gun metal finish is a reflection setting in the &lt;plane&gt;.xml file. If you don&#8217;t want it to be gun metal gray delete the xml file for that plane in the scripts\/db\/aircrafts\/&lt;nation&gt;\/ folder.
